Great mixes make a huge difference in how a song is perceived. The balance and treatment of beat, how hard a drum hits, automating reverbs, there’s a level of detail that I dedicate to mixing that’s equally important as how well a song is written, or the production of a track. My philosophy is to approach a mix not only from a technical standpoint, but to be guided by the momentum and vibe of the beat.
